Oh, I see what your problem is
As I mentioned in the last entry, I'm at work today, instead of watching Opening Day baseball. The closest I can come is watching baseball-related videos on YouTube, such as this one (which I don't think I've linked to here before). The serious baseball-related content starts at about 1:50 in. Dave Foley is awesome.

Best kid since Jeffrey Maier?
Vivaelbirdos poster Brock20 found this video of a kid, all of about four years old, doing imitations of the batting stances of several Cardinals. He's got them cold--check out the swing and follow-through on Pujols--and the deadly home run stare. Hard to believe a four-year-old can mimic that ice-cold look, but he does. It's uncanny. His Jimmy Edmonds is really good, too.
Meanwhile, his kid sister sings "Row Row Row Your Boat" in the background.
Opening Day is getting close.

Wrigley Field has been around a long time
From YouTube, via the Uni Watch blog, here's six and a half minutes of home movie footage shot at Wrigley Field. It starts off with 1930 Flag Day ceremonies prior to a game against the Boston Braves, including the raising of a 1929 NL championship pennant, and then switches to 1929 World Series action against the Philadelphia A's (either Game 1 or Game 2, both of which were Cubs losses).
